Boy, 8, spreads kindness, joy this holiday season
Brody Smitkin is a kid with a bigger heart than most people. He’s on a mission to help as many kids as he can this Christmas.
Brody was able to encourage his entire neighborhood to help those who need it most this holiday season. It started off with Brodie asking his neighbors for shoeboxes. Then he wrote out a list of necessities for kids in his age group.
He packed the boxes and added special gifts like stickers and notes to make each one unique.
This operation here is called Brodie’s Purse. They put a “Let’s Be Friends” sheet on the boxes, so the kids that get to meet them and then a “Jesus Loves You” message.
This isn’t his first time wanting to help people. Brody’s mom says he’s always had a huge heart.
