Local students are united in their mission to help people who are less fortunate this holiday season.

Capital Region BOCES students recently donated hundreds of toys to the City Mission of Schenectady.

Students from every program ranging from diesel tech to global fashion to cosmetology joined forces to make sure kids in our area will wake up to a gift underneath the tree this year.

In recent weeks, dozens of toys and games were collected on the Albany campus of Capital Region BOCES, and they were later donated.

Additionally, more than $1,000 was raised in donations from students, faculty, and staff to help the cause.
