Former Amsterdam mayor turns 100

A very special happy birthday this weekend to a former mayor of Amsterdam.
Mario Villa turned 100 on Sunday. Villa is also a World War II veteran.
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara presented a proclamation to the former mayor.
He was also joined by his son, who is also a former mayor of Amsterdam, Michael Villa.
They celebrated at Lorenzo’s Southside in Amsterdam.
