Four Hudson Valley Community College students will receive the State University of New York’s Chancellor Award for Student Excellence.

Those students are Ameera Aftab, Lukas Donaghue, Josephine O’Hare, and Brady Oles.

That’s the most prestigious student honors awarded in the SUNY system.

The students receiving the award all exemplify leadership, Roger Ramsammy, president of Hudson Valley Community College, said.

They will be honored during a SUNY awards ceremony next Thursday, April 11.
