Hoosick Falls business recognized for work to preserve historic gravestones

A Hoosick Falls business is getting recognition for its work to preserve history.

Gravestone Matters works to preserve older gravestones.

Owner and stone conservator Joseph Ferrannini has spent more than 16 years working on thousands of gravestones and monuments throughout the state.

The project was one of 11 spotlighted as part of the New York State Historic Preservation Awards.
