Man with arthritis turns pain into passion to help others
A father, a veteran, and a volunteer with The Arthritis Foundation is a living example of turning pain into passion.
Craig Wilkinson has psoriatic arthritis. He has 31 operations under his belt. However, he will be the first to tell you he will not let his disease define him. He says no one should.
He had good friends and immersed himself in the arthritis foundation, doing fundraisers, telethons, and support groups – helping others through their journey.
He’s also volunteered at the Maple Hill Jr./Sr. High School and Castleton Elementary School.
He says he feels blessed to be able to help kids and people understand what it’s like having an auto-immune disease.
