National Grid employees giving back to community
More than 1,500 National Grid employees are helping out across the Northeast.
More than 1,500 National Grid employees are helping across the Northeast this week. That includes dozens at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands.
They sorted bottle and can donations, organized supplies and gave extra help to the oldest and largest animal protection organization in the Capital Region.
National Grid employees also helped Comfort Foods in Washington County harvest vegetables for the United Way, which serves a tri-county area.
The event was part of National Grid’s Project C Community Commitment Initiative to create meaningful relationships in the communities where employees live and work.
This is the fourth year that National Grid is holding this community event.
