NBA player Andre Jackson Jr. gives out school supplies in Amsterdam
An NBA player with Capital Region roots is giving back to his community.
Albany Academy graduate Andre Jackson Jr. was giving away school supplies at Creative Connections Clubhouse in Amsterdam on Saturday. More than 100 kids and families were offered food, games, clothing and supplies. Andre was joined by his younger brother Marcus, who recently joined the Siena men’s basketball team.
Both brothers said they are grateful for the impact Creative Connections Clubhouse had on their lives and they are more than proud to give back to the community. Andre is heading into his second season in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks.
