A new sled rack in Pittsfield hopes to provide plenty of winter fun.

Lindsey Marion, co-owner of Otto’s Kitchen & Comfort, began organizing the Clapp Park Little Sled Library earlier this month, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.

Since then, other city residents and business owners have pitched in, donating sleds, signage, wood and more.

It will run like little free libraries for books.

Visitors will be able to grab a sled, use it for a few runs and then return it to the rack for the next person to borrow.

There’s also talk of expanding it to other parts of Pittsfield, the paper reports.
