A local nonprofit is starting a new podcast.

Jake’s Help From Heaven was started in 2011 following the sudden death of Heather Straughter’s 4-year-old son Jake.

The organization gives people with complex medical needs and disabilities help and boost their quality of life.

Next Thursday, Feb. 29, they are releasing the first episode of their new weekly podcast called “A Place of Yes.”

The podcast aims to help listeners channel their grief for good.

There will be a launch party at Saratoga Strike Zone in Saratoga Springs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
