North Country, Vermont flyovers mark Independence Day

You may have seen a flyover Tuesday in parts of Vermont and the North Country in honor of Independence Day.
The Vermont Air National Guard is conducting regional flybys – coordinated with many locally scheduled parades.
The F-35s flew over Lake George and Lake Placid Tuesday morning.
The guard says this patriotic display is “intended as a heartfelt thank you to the supportive community members of Vermont and New York, who have continuously demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our armed forces.”
