You can help the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation this week, through an online art auction.

The non-profit was created in 1983 and is headquartered in downtown Saratoga Springs.

There are more than 400 horses across the country rehabbing or enjoying retirement thanks this group.

The artwork up for bidding was created by inmates in California, who are part of the foundation’s Second Chances Program. It exists at seven correctional facilities.

It’s a training program where inmates learn how to care for horses.
