With the annual South High Marathon Dance just four weeks away, the fundraisers to support the event are coming on fast.
On Sunday, St. Michael’s Church in South Glens Falls is putting on its annual marathon breakfast – pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage – you name it – from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is $10 for adults. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Marathon Dance and its efforts to help 34 local charities and people battling illness.
This year’s dance is Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2 at the South High Gymnasium. The students have raised more than $10.5 million over the past 46 years, including $630,000.
