The Colonie Police Department received a donation of homemade quilts from the Pine Grove Quilters.

The organization, which is based out of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, donated the quilts to offer some comfort during a stressful time.

The quilts will be put in each patrol car and given to people who might need one, like a victim in a car crash or people in crisis.
