More than 60 employees of Pioneer spent the weekend drilling and assembling bed frames.

The banking company’s Albany-Shaker Road parking lot was turned into an assembly line to build 40 new beds.

The project was a partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which is a nonprofit that provides beds to children in need.

Pioneer employees also donated comforters, sheets, pillows and pillowcases.
