A Saratoga Springs family raised more than $16,000 for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The Torres family held a big party at King’s Tavern on Union Street, featuring live music, raffles, a pie-in-the-face contest and food and drinks.

The fundraiser was in honor of Michele Torres, a cancer survivor.

Michele’s daughter Alexandra is running the Boston Marathon in April – also in honor of her mother.
