South Colonie schools are gearing up to “stuff the bus.”

The school district says it will continue its partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and the village of Colonie to bring holiday jobs to local families.

For the 17th year, they will be “stuffing the bus” with Toys for Tots.

There will be toy drives throughout November and December on South Colonie school campuses.

Things will kick off on Monday. Families can drop off toys through Dec. 6.

The district’s signature event this year will be Colonie High School’s Holiday light parade drive-through style show held on Dec. 2.

Families are asked to bring a new, unwrapped gift as entry to the event.
