Motorcycle ride honors late Navy veteran

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Massachusetts will host the third annual Glen’s Run Motorcycle Ride in memory of Glen “Saultydawg” Sault, this Saturday. Hundreds of motorcyclists will take off from the Briarcliff Motel on a 50-mile loop around the Berkshires. Sault, a Navy veteran, died in April 2020, in a motorcycle crash directly in front of the Briarcliff.

Watervliet Restaurant Week

Watervliet plans to host Restaurant Week again, but reservations are going fast. This is the third year Watervliet has held the event. It showcases restaurants in the city – which are offering special fixed menus through Sunday, April 23. Restaurants usually sell out, so reservations are recommended.

Averill Park Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week is also underway in Averill Park. Eleven participating restaurants are offering meals, deals and drink specials through April 23.

Fishing fun in Warren County

The Warren County Fish Hatchery will host its annual Spring Zing on Saturday, May 13. There will be fish-themed fun, including fishing clinics, demonstrations, free food and prizes.

Celebrating Earth Day

Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22. There are opportunities for you to give back to the environment. There are several Earth Day celebrations and cleanup events being held around the Capital Region.
