Teen with brain cancer helps others in similar fight

Kailey Paul, a local teen battling brain cancer, wanted to do something special for other kids fighting cancer.

She dropped off more than 200 warmies at Albany Medical Center on Thursday today.

Warmies are weighted stuffed animals that can be microwaved and used as a heating pad to help kids stay warm during infusions.

RPI football grant

RPI has received a $1 million gift to fund the school’s football program.

The gift will support priorities and the greatest needs of the football program, including coaching staff, recruiting efforts, equipment, travel, and locker room media technology.

The money comes from 1991 graduate Brendan Keegan and his wife Dana.

The gift also establishes the Brendan P. Keegan ’91 football locker room.

Adirondack Winery Anniversary

The Adirondack Winery in Lake George will mark its 15th anniversary next Monday.

The winery opened a brand new winemaking facility and tasting room last year.

‘Bike & Roll’ to school on May 3

More than 1,600 schools and communities across the country are getting set for “Bike & Roll To School Day” on May 3.

It invites participants to celebrate the joy of active commuting while building a sense of community and school spirit
