Troy community center to host prom dress giveaway in April

With prom season quickly approaching, a local community center is helping make the memorable night affordable.

The Hope 7 Community Center in Troy is hosting its first prom dress giveaway in April.

Any high schooler just needs to bring their school ID, and they can pick out a dress, shoes, handbag, jewelry, and even more for free.

The center is asking for donations of gently used items.

If you would like to help, you can drop your items off right at the center at 596 Pawling Avenue.
