The combination of an intense flu season and the ongoing pandemic have doctors in the Berkshires focused on vaccines.
Pittsfield’s public health nurse told NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle that in the coming year, she will be working to bring more public clinics to the city.
The Pittsfield Health Department has provided flu and COVID vaccine clinics over the past several months.
Many of them have been focused on specific groups: municipal employees, firefighters, police officers or the elderly.
