Capital Region students are stepping up to combat the national blood shortage.

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at College Suites at Washington Square on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Anyone who donates blood, platelets, or plasma in the month of January will automatically be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
