CDC reports rising pneumonia cases in children
Child pneumonia cases on the rise
The CDC is reporting an increase in pneumonia cases among children, and that’s causing concern for parents.
Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs. Symptoms came include trouble breathing, fever, cough, chills and fatigue.
Pediatricians are recommending that any child over the age of six months get COVID and flu shots. COVID can cause pneumonia.
If your child’s symptoms don’t improve with time, you should call a pediatrician.
