Getting kids outside is great for their health and for socializing. There are always free activities going on during the summer. Reading is also a great option. You can combine reading with exercise by walking to the library, and the great thing is they are not assigned a book.
It’s also important for parents to be good role models. Go outside with your child instead of just sending them out to play on their own.
