Grants helps fund scholarships to healthcare workers
Around $500,000 has been granted to the Iroquois Healthcare Association based in Clifton Park.
The organization will use the money to give scholarships for the third year in a row to essential health care workers.
The program is currently helping 28 hospitals in Upstate New York give back to their employees and invest in their futures. Scholarships will be awarded in 2024.
Around 220 healthcare workers have been helped in the past two years, with scholarships ranging from $1,500 to nearly $9,000.
