Cancer cases on the rise in under 50 population

February is National Cancer Prevention Month.

Studies show more people under the age of 50 are being diagnosed with cancer – both in the U.S. and worldwide.

Some of the cases include breast, colon and prostate cancers.

Part of the rise may be due to people getting screened at a younger age.

Other factors may be related to diet, lifestyle and environmental exposures.
