Quaker recalls products due to possible salmonella risk
The Quaker Oats Company is recalling products due to a possible salmonella risk.
The recall includes certain varieties of granola bars and boxes of granola cereal.
Salmonella is a bacteria that can cause fever, stomach cramps, vomiting and headache. Most people recover without medical treatment. However, a salmonella infection can be more severe for children under 5 years old and people with weakened immune systems.
