Keeping up with a healthy diet while on vacation may seem impossible.
While getaways are meant to offer rest and relaxation, they can often leave people worried about how much they’re consuming.
One obstacle is that vacationers tend to eat more when they aren’t cooking their own meals.
To cut down on these larger portions, dietitians recommend eating half the meal at the restaurant and taking the other half back to your hotel for the next day.
However, if you do want to indulge, that’s OK. In fact, dieticians suggest allowing yourself one night of whatever you’re craving rather than suppressing those desires.
