According to a new study, more people under the age of 50 are being diagnosed with cancer, both in the United States and worldwide.
There’s no one definitive answer for why there’s been an increase in cancer cases.
However, part of the rise in cases may be due to people getting screenings at a younger age, the Cleveland Clinic said.
Other factors may be related to dietary, lifestyle and environmental exposures.
As far as prevention, go to your annual screenings. Guidelines have changed in recent years, so make sure you’re up-to-date.
