A new study finds that using acetaminophen during pregnancy is not linked to neurodevelopmental disorders.

Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol. A new report in the journal JAMA focused on information from 2 million children in Sweden, who were followed for about 25 years.

The study found there was no increased risk of autism and ADHD for children exposed during pregnancy compared with those who were not.

The research also found other painkillers, such as aspirin, were not associated with an increased risk of neurodevelopmental disorders.
