Walking can lower Type 2 diabetes risk
Walking at a certain speed can lower your risk of Type 2 diabetes.
Walking at least 2.5 miles per hour can cut the risk significantly, according to a new study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine.
The report found walking at faster speeds can help lower insulin resistance.
The American Diabetes Association recommends walking for at least 30 minutes daily.
