Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga opens in Wilton Mall
Local business Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga has a new location at Wilton Mall.
The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce said brothers James and Jesse Bruchac are excited about welcoming folks into this new space to learn and practice jiu jitsu.
“It’s a program that goes beyond competition, it’s also a way to improve your life,” James Bruchac said.
Alliance prides itself on having people from many different walks of life as part of its highly successful team. The local center’s schedule includes instruction for children, teens, women and adults, with a special program for law enforcement officers too.
“We are open to everybody. we’re really trying to be more inclusive,” Jesse Bruchac said.
The Bruchacs believe that everyone can benefit from learning jiu jitsu.
“I love that there’s always something new to learn on the mats, there’s a new way that we can find control, that we can find comfort, in uncomfortable positions, which is really what jiu jitsu teaches us to do,” Jesse Bruchac said.
