Birches Motel recently celebrated a renovation aimed at providing travelers a unique and rejuvenating experience.

The classic roadside motel is located on Saratoga Road in Wilton – just minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs.

It was a well-known fixture starting to show its age, when the new owners embarked on an exciting journey to breathe new life into this iconic destination.

With its rich history and newfound character, owner David Mogg is proud of the work that’s been completed at this charming establishment.

“Birches Motel is a take on a 1950s kind of mid-century modern. We’ve upcycled it to have modern amenities that people have come to expect these days and the conveniences of smart technology with a beautiful backdrop of the peace is out here just outside of Saratoga Springs,” he said.

The new ownership bought the motel in June and got straight to work revamping the property.

“The check-in experience is as simple as getting a text message to your phone, you click the link and you’ll get the access code to your room. You’ve got amenities available in the room but then we also have a lovely area that has extra amenities for anyone that wants it. You know we want people to walk in and see the space for how beautifully simple and clean it is, we want people to be able to fully relax.”
