The Blooming Artist Gallery is inviting artists and art lovers to its Clifton Park space.

The Grooms Road gallery was founded two years ago by Cynthia Romano and has since expanded into a workshop where people of all ages can learn how to create art.

“We have paintings, pottery, sculpture, some crafts, but not many, mostly fine arts. And in the back we have two studios. We have a workshop for painting. We have one for pottery, and it’s really just like a service for our community,” she said.

The business also has a new framing department and hosts special events in the studio. Instruction is offered for youth and adult artists.

Romano finds it particularly rewarding to work with children.

“I think I enjoy the most having children really grow and when they see what they can do and as they start really learning and they get interested in different arts,” she said.

Romano is aiming for the Blooming Artist Gallery to become a destination for visitors from both near and far to learn more.
