The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District is teaming up with CDTA.

Downtown Albany BID is joining CDTA’s Universal Access Program.

Employees of more than 175 hospitality industry, retail and retail-related businesses that are within the

Downtown Albany BID’s boundaries will have unlimited ridership within CDTA’s service network.

Employees can use any of CDTA’s transit service by swiping their “Navigator” card.

The goal is to provide stability for both employees and employers, with free transportation to work and to make downtown Albany a more attractive place to work.

The perk extends beyond work hours, so people can go get groceries, bring their children to daycare, visit family and more – without having to spend money on transportation.

Businesses who want to participate should contact the Downtown Albany BID.
