Halfmoon Farmer’s Market ready to move outside

The Halfmoon Farmer’s Market is getting a fresh start to the summer season.

The market will be moving outdoors for the season.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 5.

Visitors are welcome to attend the fun at Abele Park from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The park is on Harris Road next to the town’s municipal center.

Anyone who buys something on opening day will get a free hot dog or hamburger.

The town of Halfmoon is introducing a special option for vendors. Instead of having to sign up for the whole season, vendors can sign up for “pop-in” sessions.

The new feature lets vendors participate in the market for $10 each time.

This is the seventh year of the farmer’s market.

It is outside from June to September, and indoors at town hall from October to May.
