Lake George Restaurant Week gets underway

Lake George Restaurant Week is back in action.

Now through Saturday, Sep. 16 you can enjoy specially crafted three-course meals at multiple restaurants.

This is the 17th edition of Restaurant Week in the Lake George area.

Taste New York at the Adirondacks Welcome Center is sponsoring the event for the second year, and presenting a challenge where participating restaurants have to create prix fixe menus featuring at least one locally grown or produced ingredient from New York state.

Each restaurant’s menu options will incorporate apples, an iconic produce here in New York.

The three-course meals will cost $35.
