Lia Nissan gives big donation to Equinox for second year

Lia Nissan Saratoga is giving back.

For the second straight year, the auto dealer set aside a portion of all their vehicle sales and service proceeds in the month of October. Now they are giving it to Equinox. 

In total, Lia Nissan is donating $6,800.

Equinox coordinates an annual Thanksgiving dinner every year, with the support of nearly 4,000 volunteers. They provide a holiday meal to more than 10,000 people in tough circumstances.

In addition, Equinox serves 5,200 people annually in 12 locations, including residential facilities.  It focuses on youth, adults and families whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, drug and alcohol addictions, mental illness, homelessness and the challenges of living amid poverty and violence.
