Nanny company a hit for South Glens Falls entrepreneurs

Need a nanny? Two local young entrepreneurs have you covered.

Emma Goodspeed, 19, and Olivia Barber, 21, have opened a nannying service called Lovey and Co., based in their native South Glens Falls.

Their service caters to larger groups because they say they can watch more kids together.

Between their siblings and daycare, Emma and Olivia have cared for children of all ages.
Lovey and Co. opened just this month.

The idea was born when the duo advertised on their personal Facebook pages, and were contacted immediately. The demand surprised them, and two days later, they decided to start their own small company.

Once they announced their company on Facebook, they woke to hundreds of reactions. Now, they’re booked through July and scheduling clients in September and October.
