What better place to drink coffee than your local library.
The Saratoga Springs Public Library has a new on-site coffee shop that helps support the library.
Operated by the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, the shop offers drinks and light fare, including baked goods by The Bread Basket Bakery.
Jennifer Allen, executive director of the Friends group, is excited about the launch.
All profits and tips from the coffee shop help the not-for-profit community organization fulfill its mission of supporting the programs, staff and facilities of the public library.
