A new business gift registry based in Schenectady is offering some options for local start-ups and nonprofits.
Biz Idea Shower is an online hub where budding entrepreneurs can register to get the products and services they need to help their business succeed.
It’s similar to a wedding or baby shower. That’s how this creative venture, launched by founder Janet Tanguay, got its name.
You can find a wide variety of resources – from office supplies and legal services – to help with web design.
They’re offered by established firms that are part of Biz Idea Shower’s services directory.
Registration is free for start-ups and non-profits through the end of this year.
