New Moreau brewery keeps taps hyperlocal

MOREAU – The taps are now flowing at a new Moreau brewery.

Dancing Grain – Farm Brewery brings beer straight from the field to your glass.

Foothills Business Daily says the owner, Rachel McDermott, grew up on a grain farm in Schaghticoke.

She went on to work on Wall Street, but now she’s back on a farm with her family growing, brewing and selling beer.

McDermott says unique ingredients will go from the ground to your glass in a hyperlocal and sustainable way.

Nothing goes to waste on the farm, so you’ll get to touch, taste and experience the ingredients in your craft beer from the ground up.

One special brew includes fresh blueberries from a neighboring farm.

The old farm shop on the property has been transformed into a brewery and taproom.
