New tea room opens in Cohoes

A tea room is now up and running in Cohoes.
It’s called Chocolate Is Self Care, and is located on Remsen Street.
Glory-Anne jones says the tea business started to help her life coaching clients carve out space in their day for self-reflection.
It quickly grew into a robust online business offering several tea blends.
Her flagship blend is made in part with the hulls of cacao beans – a byproduct of chocolate making.
The tea room doubles as a production facility during the day and is open to the public on Friday nights and weekends in December, before expanding hours in the new year.
Customers looking for private tea parties can book the space for groups of up to 20 people for kids parties, baby showers and more.
