Schenectady looking for art sculpture proposals

How would you celebrate Schenectady in a public art sculpture?
Creative Connectors is now accepting proposals for a sculpture that will be installed within downtown Schenectady.
The theme of the sculpture is Schenectady and the design should represent what the electric city means to you.
Size and shape of the sculpture can vary – depending on the artistic vision for the piece.
Creative Connectors is a Schenectady based public art initiative coordinated by local arts organizations.
It will cover all costs associated with insurance, permitting, installation, and marketing/ pr, and will provide additional support for this project as needed.
The overall budget for design, construction and materials is between $5,000 and $6,000.
