The city of Troy is gearing up for its annual Pig Out.

This year’s Pig Out is set for July 16 – and traditionally brings more than 5,000 people to the Collar City.

It will be held throughout the streets of downtown Troy – not in Riverfront Park like before.

Restaurants will serve $4 samples of any BBQ option they would like.

Each business will sell food from their storefront, and can also sell additional items alongside their Pig Out offerings – like larger plates of BBQ.

Restaurants that aren’t part of The Troy Business Improvement District can also participate and set up vendor space in Monument Square.

There will be several barbecue categories – including “People’s Choice” and “Downtown Troy’s Best BBQ.”
