Venting, heating manufacturer moving to larger Waterford facility
A local manufacturer is relocating to a larger facility in Waterford. Centrotherm Eco Systems is a manufacturer of venting systems and accessories for heating professionals.
The manufacturer has been operating out of a 62,000 facility on South Pearl Street in Albany since 2009. However, it’s seen rapid growth recently and has been dealing with space limitations.
The company hoped to build a new facility, but high construction costs made it too difficult.
Now Centrotherm is operating out of a warehouse that’s nearly double the size in Waterford.
The Center for Economic Growth helped Centrotherm obtain a $15,000 grant from National Grid, which the company is using to maximize the layout of its new space.
