A Berkshire County woman has pleaded not guilty to killing her grandmother.
Kelsie Cote, 27, appeared in Berkshire Superior Court on Thursday.
The Berkshire District Attorney told The Berkshire Eagle that Cote coaxed her grandmother, Doris Cote, to make her the beneficiary of the $1 million estate, and then killed her to support her drug addiction.
Kelsie is accused of killing Cote in her North Adams home last Halloween.
