Woman arrested in connection With Bennington Homicide

New details have been released regarding Wednesday night’s deadly shooting in Bennington, Vermont.

Police told us the girlfriend of the alleged shooter was arrested in connection with the homicide.

Bennington police also confirmed Elliot Russel’s alleged girlfriend, Erin Wilson, is in jail tonight. She’s being charged as an accessory to the shooting death of Ulysses Ivey.

The murder took place at a substation on Route 9.

Bennington police say Wilson was involved in the alleged murder, but did not say how exactly she was involved.
Wilson is being held on bail at the Marble County Jail. Her bail was set at $50,000.
The Bennington Police Lieutenant previously told us that Wednesday night’s shooting that killed Ivey was not Russel’s first run in with the law.

Just 6 days before the murder, Russel allegedly pistol whipped someone according to the Hoosick Falls Police Department. Police stated that they found the victim with cuts to the head.

Russell now faces a slew of charges including robbery and assault in that case. At this time, he has not been charged in connection with the murder of Ivey.
