A Saranac Lake woman has been indicted for allegedly shooting and killing an Indian Lake man last August.

Ann Favro, 57, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 32-year-old David Chenier.

Favro is accused of killing Chenier on Big Brook Road on Aug. 12. Favro was arrested a short time after the incident.

Chenier and Favro are related, sources told NewsChannel 13.

Favro was arraigned in Hamilton County Court and is being held in jail.
