A woman is injured after being hit by a car on the Green Island bridge.

Green Island Police got the call just before 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center.

Police say she is in stable condition.

Police also tell us the driver stayed at the scene and that there were no signs of drugs or alcohol being involved.
